GCFFA 5th Annual BBQ Challenge

The George County Firefighters Association will be having its 5th annual Bbq challenge on May 3, 2014 at the George County Fairgrounds. This is a KCBS State Championship event with teams coming from all over there United States. We will also have a backyard amatuer division as well. The professional prize purse is $4400 and the backyard is $1000. We will have live entertainment featuring: Submission, Buck Allen, Brandon Green, Double Dee with Matt Hoggatt, The Hill Billy Circus Band, Cole Jones, Derek Norsworthy, Richie Jones, Eric Welford, Nashville songwriters Brett Jones and Kent Blazy with National Country Recording Artist "RICOCHET" taken the stage at 8pm. We will have alot of games and rides for the children. We will have plenty of BBQ to try eat. Children 6yrs and under get in free. The funds raised goes toward wounded and fallen volunteer firefighters to help with expenses. We also give out scholarships to high school seniors that have family members that are volunteer firefighters. So come out and support us and have a wonderful time...
